Founded in 1993 as On the Spot Productions, IndyVisual is a video production studio specializing in candid, unobtrusive and elegant wedding videography.  We were the first wedding videography studio in Indiana to tape and edit in a broadcast digital format, author to DVDs, shoot in high-definition and burn Blu-ray discs.  But it is our reputation for quality, friendliness and professionalism that have allowed us to become Indiana's premier, most-referred wedding videography studio.  In 2009, we were voted Indy's #1 Videographer, selected as the official videographer of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) Annual Conference, and chosen as winner of a prestigious PACE Award.  IndyVisual is a proud member of ABC, ISES (International Special Events Society) and WEVA (Wedding & Events Videographers Association).

A native of Indianapolis, owner and founder Bob Ridge started producing videos in 1989 at ABC affiliate WRTV-6.  In 1991, he won three ADDY awards as promotions director at CBS affiliate WLFI-TV.  He founded On the Spot Productions in 1993.  In 1996, he was featured on the cover of Wedding & Event Videography.  In the year 2000 he spun off the wedding division and renamed it IndyVisual.  He was invited to speak at WEVA Expo 2009, the world's largest event videography conference.

 

 

Laurie Buschmann-Foster

Senior videographer Laurie Buschmann began lending her talents to the IndyVisual family in the year 2000.  During the week, she is a full-time video producer with Fuseworks Studios.  Her enviable resume includes positions at several major local production houses, an Emmy-nominated turn at WISH-TV, and freelance work for every major national network.  Our clients love her energy, positive attitude and outgoing nature.

 

 

Rich Johnson

RICH JOHNSON   Senior videographer and Bob's childhood friend Rich Johnson began working with On the Spot Productions in 1994.   In the year 2000, the wedding division was spun off from OTSP as IndyVisual, and Rich has owned and operated OTSP ever since, covering over 1000 events.  He also currently owns Imagine Video Productions, and we can't imagine video productions without him.

CATHY GERLACH   Assistant editor Cathy Gerlach joined us in 2006 and has had a significant hand in completing over 100 beautiful videos ever since.  Her attitude, efficiency and work ethic have contributed greatly to IndyVisual's ability to produce a high-quality keepsake for our clients in a short amount of time.  This in turn has freed up much valuable time for us to focus on customer service, business development, and enjoying life in general.
